Bengal Family

Bengal Family - “Where Everyone Belongs” - When Marcus transferred to FVMS mid-year, he didn’t know what to expect. Within days, he was welcomed by teachers who learned his name, peers who invited him to sit with them at lunch, and staff who made sure he felt supported. That’s the Bengal Family. It’s more than a phrase, it’s a commitment to ensuring every student and staff member feels valued, supported, and connected every single day.
That commitment extends far beyond the classroom. When Mr. Ernest Devane faced a life-changing medical challenge and needed a kidney transplant, one of our own, Ms. Kristin Lundberg, stepped forward in an extraordinary act of compassion and selflessness to donate a kidney. Her decision not only changed Mr. Devane’s life, it reminded all of us what it truly means to be a family.
At FVMS, the Bengal Family is built on care, sacrifice, and unwavering support. It’s seen in small, everyday moments and in life-changing ones. Here, everyone belongs, and we take care of one another no matter what.
